Another of Justin’s favorite pastimes was the annual bonfire at Grandma Judy and Grandpa Bobs farm. During the year, Bob and Judy would make a giant brush pile as they cleared and cleaned the land. After Christmas each year, normally on New Year’s Eve, we would have a huge fire, complete with hot dogs and marshmallows. They boys would tend the fire, play in the fire as boys will do, and simply have a great time. Justin and Ryan generally invited friends to share in this tradition.
