The Sisson family took a vacation to Hawaii while the boys were early in high school. Seeking a sunny and warm diversion from a cold winter, the family headed west in February of 2005. We found warm, but the sun was proved harder to locate. The island of Kauii had record rainfall and flooding while we were there, but that did not stop the exploration of all the island had to offer. The hotel pool was flooded and beach washed away on the first night. We finally jumped on a plane for Oahu were the boys finally got to see the sun. Justin also got to visit a few military sites at Pearl Harbor.
